On October 6th at 11:45am the League of Women Voters will share pros and cons of the different measures on our CA ballots. All are welcome to this non partisan presentation on the different matters before voters this season. And the timing is perfect since our ballots should start arriving that same week!

Audition materials and further instructions are at the signup link.
As we are a community choir everyone is invited and welcome to join without an audition, the audition is only for this leadership training program.
Fall Choir at Woodside Road UMC
Fall choir rehearsals begin on Thursday, September 5th at 6pm.
Our choir is intentionally multi-generational. Last year we had middle schoolers and grandparents and folks in between making music together. Let’s continue making a joyful noise together!
The choir will present in worship on the following Sundays:
September 29th
October 13th
November 3rd
November 24th
Music for Advent (December) will also be in the mix. December Sundays to be announced soon.
We’d love to have you join us as we raise our voices in praise this season.

Sierra Service Project Send Off
On July 7th we will pray for our Sierra Service Project participants before they head to Del Norte County for a week of service on July 14th. (Departure is at 6am, so we’re doing the send off a week early.)
Please keep the 8 folks traveling north in your prayers.
If you want to send mail to any of the folks who are part of the SSP trip you can do so here (you’ll want to send mail on the early side because it can take a while to get to Del Norte County):
