Ushers and Liturgists: to learn what’s involved in these activities.

Senior Fellowship: A dinner, lunches and recreation are held for seniors. Jean Massing organizes these.

Adult Spiritual Formation:
One of the ways we practice our faith is by "watching over one another in love." We do this in a small group setting through prayer, scripture reading, and holding one another accountable as we strive to do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God.

We are currently meeting on Sundays after worship (usually about noon) for an hour. for more information.

Adult Spiritual Formation resumes on Sunday, March 5, 2017, in the library following worship. Our study is "Plenty Good Room" based on African American spirituals. We will look at six different spirituals, including Every Time I Feel the Spirit, This Lonesome Valley, and Were You There, and the biblical stories associated with these songs. Everyone is welcome to join us! You can order the book on-line if you'd like a copy, but having a copy of Plenty Good Room is not necessary in order to participate.

Beginning on April 23rd we will explore Anne Lamott's new book "Hallelujah Anyway: Rediscovering Mercy". This book is scheduled to be published April 4th, so the exact structure of the study is still to be determined. As always, everyone is welcome to join in after worship on Sundays.

Bridge Club: Amigos Bridge meetings are on the first Friday of the month at 7:00 pm, from September to June. For information call Bev Barr at 366-4313.

Work Days: If you like to do small jobs with congenial people, join us for a Work Day! We do cleaning and yard jobs, repair stuff, restock pews, etc. These are held quarterly on Saturdays, 9 am–noon, and all help is welcome. Breakfast is served at 8 am for those who come early, and there’s a coffee break at 10.  Joe Palumbo, Chair of Trustees, organizes these.

Watch for details about the above in Sunday bulletins and the monthly church newsletter, Tidings.
